Mini Panic Attack
I was just on the knot and caught a glimpse of how many days I have left.....almost to the double digits. I think I would like to freak out now please. There are so many things left to do. I need to kick my butt into gear, but it might be difficult during holiday season. Maybe everyone will just get gift cards this year? I hate doing that though.
I started on my invites about 2 weeks ago. I think I will be able to finish them up by Christmas to mail out the beginning of January. I know what I want our wedding bands to look like but I haven't found them yet. I need to find someone to do lighting and draping for the ballroom. I do have someone in mind but I need to check out their work. Need to stop by the ballroom to see if the renovations they promised are complete. Need to get my traditional dress made. Need to remember to breathe.....hahaha.

Its going to cost how much?
Yesterday I went on my first alterations quote appointment. I purchased my dress at a sample sale awhile back ago and the shop I bought it at has 2 tailors they work with not necessarily in store. So yesterday I took my dress to a well known lady in Houston who actually designs and makes her own wedding gowns. My gown is all alencon lace so I don't trust it with just anyone. What needs to be done is the hem, make the straps a little shorter, and make darts on my chest. For a total of almost $400. Am I getting ripped off? I really trust this lady as she was recommended by a few other brides and the shop I bought my dress from. I am going to make another appointment with another tailor just to see what the pricing difference might be. How much did you spend on alterations? And what kind of work needed to be done?
On the other hand, I saw this Liancarlo dress and think its absolutely adorable!

Droolworthy!
I go back and forth with myself on the color of my bouquet. Some days I want a clean classic white bouquet and other days I want pink. I want my bouquet to be all one shade of color, so there goes mixing the two. This is why I can't decide.

Frustrated
I am completely frustrated right now. Not with wedding planning, but FI's personal finance issues. I've known about his carefree attitude from the get go. Then once we started living together I found out about how he forgets to pay bills on time and has overdrafted his bank account several times. I expressed my feelings to him about how that is completely unexceptable and that I could not marry someone who did not watch after their finances. I am very particular about paying bills on time and making sure there is plenty of money in the bank. Well, FI has been doing real good about it for I would say the past year. Well, right now he is currently not working, waiting to start something new. Which is fine and all, but he is falling back to the old habit of not watching his bank account. I have no problems supporting us right now and all, but I (being the financially responsible person in the relationship) do not tolerate late fees or overdraft fees. It makes me soooo mad. I know my money is eventually our money, but I won't tolerate him being irresponsible. Just had to get that off my chest.
Is there anything about your FI/husband personality or bad habits that completely frustrates you?
